Georgetown Specialist Hospital dialysis center is a hospital-based dialysis unit with dialysis stations.

Our dialysis care team comprises nephrologists (physicians specialising in kidney diseases), vascular surgeon(surgeon specialised in dealing with AV fistula), registered nurses, certified hemodialysis technicians and registered dietitian.

Our goal is to maintain and improve the overall health and quality of life for patients with end-stage renal disease. We continually monitor patient satisfaction and the quality of our clinical services.

Scope of Haemodialysis Services

Peritoneal Dialysis

  • Continuous Ambulatory Peritoneal Dialysis (CAPD) is the only type of peritoneal dialysis that is done without machine.
  • Automated Peritoneal Dialysis (APD) is type of peritoneal dialysis that is done using cycler.

  • Hemodialysis

  • Hemodialyzer is used to remove waste and extra chemicals and fluid from your blood.
  • Minor surgery needed to be done to your arm by doctor in order to get your blood into the artificial kidney.
